Long one-shot holes are, by definition, difficult. They require a long club and for the majority of players the 210 meters to the back third of the green is all of a fairway wood shot. The sloping green is open in the front and a low running shot is the ideal option for all but the strongest of iron players who might contemplate flying the ball all the way to the flag. |
